Any help would be appreciated.
A certain form of a sweetening product derives its name, unappetisingly, from a Portuguese word meaning 'made badly'! What is the nine-letter name of this form of product, as derived from that Portuguese word?
I have found the Portuguese word which is FEITOMAL - but cannot find a form of sweetener.
My best guess is saccharum (sugarcane).
