I've just hatched and have joined a couple of discussions - in fact I've started one.
A number of people when answering a previous post use a quote from that post.
the quote appears in a white box.
How can I do this?
Ah.... I've just seen a quote box above this box in the message body line.
I shall now post this message and then get back to it and try a quote from myself.......

I've pressed quote and done the whole post. I only wanted to do a para.

You have to edit the post after you click on the quote button. There is no other way. I've tried selecting text before hitting the button and it makes no difference.
