It's all over for Saddam!

I wonder -- probably along with millions of others -- just who it is that we are fighting in Iraq and what this "enemy" will do to retaliate now that Saddam has been executed.

Were this enemy to assisinate bush, they would make him a hero and I suspect that this foe is smart enough to realize this. My speculation is that they will wait until the next occupant of the WH (certain to be a Democrat, no matter who runs) is in office and obliterate that person. Excellent revenge.

I would have felt more comfortable had the Iraqi people -- on their own, without the support of the US -- risen up against Saddam and, like the Italians in the case of Moussilini -- beaten him to a pulp. As it was, the US is the perp.
