I know how to resize so that the pixels match the guidelines..

but how do I reduce it to fit the file size?

The avatar I want is bigger then the 6kb limit.

How do I fix that?

If your new avatar is a photo of you, shewolf, I hope that someone like timber comes along to help. I wouldn't want to see a reduction made in the wrong part. Smile

Some formats use more bits than others...try converting the file to a Jpeg.

Try using ReSize Pic to do this. works for me every time.

If you go to the site that I mentioned previously, start with 90x100, and play with it.

By the way, it's not inches, but pixels. You don't need to know what that means, just start playing with 90x100 and start reducing if still not under 6kb.

I resized this fine, but it's almost 13 KB and it needs to be under 6 KB. Any suggestions?

Soz, try this one. I managed to use the same original size, but reduced the file size. Plus, the quality is a bit better than the avatar you made.
