I need help solving this riddle. It is a place in Quebec:
Sainted waters used to cross in front of my door
Now Lawrence remains, but Pierre is no more
A place of firsts, including where our city began
And the final resting place of many a Catholic man.
Hi Jake, I would say it is: The Saint Lawrence River, or a church at it's junction with Lac Saint-Pierre.
(In French: fleuve Saint-Laurent) is a large west-to-east flowing river in the middle latitudes of North America, the largest estuary in the world and hence the world's largest system of fresh water lakes.
The river includes Lac Saint-Pierre east of Montreal. This seasonally-flooded area dries up.
