Hi everybody, I'm looking for a debate subject that's easy and has some

discrepancy in point of views.

It's about economic. Why I'm looking for this kind of issue?, ask my niece.

Thanks for any help.

Am I in the right place?

If a child earns money, does this money belong to the child or should it be given to the child's parents so they can spend it wisely?

You aren't actually looking for a deabte. You are seeking personal satisfaction. Anyone care to argue?

Hi everybody, found this as a debate issue, the government shouldn't

mandate 50% of female in the managerial positions. I need some help

regarding some information and point of view etc about the subject.

Hope that is good Rolling Eyes

I agree. It would cut down considerably on sexual harrassment if only MEN were allowed to work in managerial positions.

When, if ever, would it be appropriate for the government to mandate such an edict?

Which side of the 50% would a transgender or transsexual fall?

Why limit the edict to just managerial positions? Why not company ownership?

What happens if more than 50% of the managers are female? Do they get fired or demoted? How great a percentage is acceptable?

If a company fails to have a 50% female workforce in managerial positions, do they get penalized? How little a percentage is acceptable?

If a female manager goes on maternity leave, is the company required to replace her only with a female manager during the interim? If a male manager replaces her and this upsets the 50% balance during the female's leave of absence, is this acceptable?

Thanks everybody, thanks NickFun, thanks Butrflynet. Ofcourse never

forget Noddy

Also, I was thinking of the female disposition, her emotions, society

forces, heritage, fear of success that could affect her work judgement

maybe.

Sorry ladies, but these are thoughts, and every society has it norms.

So, what do you think?

Women are not emotionally stable enough to hold important positions.

or

Men and women have different strenghts, and should attempt to direct their careers accordingly.

or

Women should be allowed to sign a contract that says they will not fall pregnant during the course of the contract. This will prevent jobs being given to men in situations where all else is equal.

Hi Erol, thanks for your ideas. right, that's hard for a woman not get a

pregnant during a contract if she is married and want to start a family for

instance. Also, every woman has this affection or need or nature to have

kids.

What about the society influence in some other countries?

The upside to this is that you can chose. If you have enough transsexuals you can actually bypass that rule entirely. Smile
