I should have know better than to resort to the Thailand tongue.

The ability to delete or edit a post goes away after a certain amount of time (I forget how long) or when the post has been responded to. The deletion you're talking about was probably a Mod pulling a post.

Thanks, Jes, but usually the feature is always there, and that is what I meant. I understand that one may not delete or edit a post when a response has been added. I also realize that offensive responses can be deleted by the mods, but often, someone may see their responses as inarticulate and delete it themselves.
