The traditional mode of thinking is the mode of thinking before humans began to utilize the ability of abstract thinking. In this mode, which is like the mode in which the mythological stories that Campbell spoke of was formed. In such a mode there is experience without analysis, as we think of analysis; where we use causality and we can trace the chain of cause and effect to get at the underlying reality. Without cause and effect thinking everything is just acting according to that things nature. Anything goes, everything is reality. What is imagined is reality, what story one hears is reality. There is no truth, rather everything is truth. Critical thinking does not exist. There is only experience without analysis.
