I am a teacher trainer in a institute in Beijing. I'm right now doing some researches on the differences of school systems between China and western countries. I'm looking for the class timetables of western elementary and /or secondary schools. You know, just what subjects do the students learn ever day in a week for the whole semester.
I'll be very grateful if any of you could help me

Arthur - in the secondary school I taught at - a typical schedule was as follows:
9th grade:
Algebra (1) or Geometry (for the more advanced student)
Biology
English 1
2nd year of a foreign language (Spanish, German, French, Latin or Japanese were offered in our school system)
Economic, Legal and Political Systems (civics)
Physical Education
10th grade
Geometry or Algebra 2
Chemistry
English 2
3rd year foreign language
World History
Health/elective (each half year)
11th grade
Pre-calculus
Earth Science or AP Environmental (for advanced)
English 3
4th year foreign language
US History or AP World History
Fine Arts Elective
12th grade
Calculus or AP Statistics
AP Chemistry or AP Biology
English 4
and then you could fill the rest of your schedule with a language, or another science, another history or another elective depending on what your major was going to be in college.
This is a typical schedule for someone planning on attending university in our school system.
