That's amusing to watch Georgia's president Saakashvili to be putting on dog saying he cares not a snap for all sanctions of Russia. According to his version, Georgia is a self-sufficient country (o, rly? what about American grants then?) and good relations with Russia is a burden on them.
Well, I think that he puts a very-very good face on things. And yet, it's clear that Saakashvili is bluffing. Of all neighboring countries Russian has always been the greatest support. For example, Georgian Gastarbeiters who live and work in Russia, remit dozens of millions of dollars to their homeland which combine to about 4.8% of Georgia's GDP. Now Georgia will be short of this money, though winter is approaching.
After that, import of Georgian low-quality wines and mineral waters was banned. That will be a good part of GDP as well. Now Georgia simply has nothing to pay for Russian electric power. Will Saakashvili say they don't need it, either? Huh, how will they warm their houses, then? The only thing is clear - Georgia is descending into Stone Age thanks to Saakashvili. It's a pity that Saakashvili never improved and his people won't keep showing enthusiasm for long. Today many experts predict that Saakashvili won't stay in office long after and will be disseat before Christmas. If I were him, I would not wait but resign of my own free will.
