Righteous Shining

Matthew 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

Matthew 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

It is always amazing the abundance of information which One may find in a single verse of Scripture. For example; When One digs into Matt. 13:43, they will see that this single verse refutes may of the assertions which are made today in regards to the responsibilities of Christians. As followers of Jesus, many have been taught that they are no longer under the laws of God. And therefore keeping God's laws or doing the works of God, is not needed for salvation. This is not what Matt. 13:43 states. In that verse we find out that those who are allowed to enter into the kingdom in the end, are those whom the Lord declares righteous.

What does being righteous entail? Why were these deemed righteous and the others iniquitous? By looking at the definition of righteous from the Strong's we see that to be righteous involves righteous, observing divine laws and keeping the commandments of God. In other words, they were still under the laws of God. And while under the laws of God, they kept them faithfully and equitably.

So can somebody please answer and tell us:

Why have those who claim to follow Christ chosen to become Lawless?
Why are they teaching that the Law is not part of the ingredient for Salvation?
Why have the flock been taught that they have nothing to do?
Why are people ignoring the words of Jesus?
Why have the Gospels been leavened ?
Why have the sheep been led astray?
Why are you allowing your ears to be tickled?

its called human perceptance. some read scripture and make it suite themselves so that they can carry on doing things that are sinful. its a way of justifying their actions because to them its in scripture. they attempt to twist the word of God, as the devil attempts to do in the temptation of Christ. i am not saying they are demonic or anything but it is very attractive to think that all of your actions could be justified by the big book.

Very true. The Bible is written in such a way that any individual can try to use it to justify just about anything.
