I have decided that everytime I have to sit here looking at that little spinny wheel for longer than ten seconds waiting for a page to load, or I get that f*cking message saying, "critical error, blah blah blah," I'm going to put up a post here saying, "This site sucks."
Not that it will help, but maybe it will make me feel better.
It happened three times today. So...
Wow, I can see that if I stick to this, I will be posting on this thread ALOT.
I'm only going to post once for the past ten minutes of shittiness.
This site sucks!
Oh, stop whining. This happens every so often. It'll probably get worse before, if we're so lucky, there is some three day maintenance thing. Who knows, might not happen this time. It's been getting more and more sluggish around here, but not as viscous as it has sometimes gotten before big maintenance, by a long shot. Suck it up, il mio piccolo fagiolino*.
Suck it up and tell us more about New York lately..
* not meant derogatorially - an old friend used to call people that..
Sorry, but I just want to make sure these guys know how annoying it is out here on the other side when this starts happening all the damn time. I think a lot of people won't say anything about this because they love A2K so much. I'm one of them, and I have always held back when it came to pointing out stuff like this.
But lately, it seems worse, and I want to make sure I don't hold back just because I happen to love posting here. Isn't that how things get fixed? Isn't it good for the techies to know what's going on?
I think they know what's going on since they have posted, recently, that changes were taking place that may cause disruptions. I think that there are many who are not happy about it, but since we are the guests we should wait patiently until everything works.
Having said that, it seems that there has been ongoing maintenance for the year and a half that I have been here.
Yeah, I'm gonna demand my money back.

I already know what's going on, and it would not be if it were trivial to fix. It's just that it would take resources and time that I don't have at the moment to fix things up. It may be a while before things are real smooth, when the new site launches I'll be a lot more on top of things, as it stands phpbb's performance is poor at this scale and I have my hands tied to some degree.
That being said, I have no problem if people complain. If A2K's performance is "sucking" then there's no reason to dance around it. But just don't expect any miracles any time soon.

Make sure you fill out the forms correctly, be sure to attach a copy of your original receipt, and don't forget to allow for the restocking fee.

What the hell is restocking?
This website has stockings?
What, the hamsters wear them?
That's cruel!
The hamsters wear silk stockings, the old-fashioned kind, with the seam up the back. They wear those really high heels, known as "f*ck-me" pumps. If you want cruel, you should see what CdK does to them after they're all dressed up.

I think these are YOUR fantasies, Set.
Little do you know that Craven has a subsidiary line of play equipment for hamsters:

Soft, innocent, playful things for hamsters. Houses!
You are projecting, methinks.
We can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind
'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine
I'm not so sure Setanta isn't on to something.
Craven DID say his hands are tied...
