I think having penguins would be the coolest thing ever. Or monkeys. But monkeys probably stink, and they'd be hard to control. Penquins though...I saw them at the zoo once, and I swear, I could just sit there and watch them for hours. They're like little people!
Pygmy marmosets are cool.
Ooh, yeah, I bet that thing would be very interesting to have around the house.
I think they're probably extremely stinky though.
And probably extremely destructive, too.
I saw some thing on Animal Planet about crazy people who spend fortunes on house-habitats for their animals (one guy on the show had a house built around the fact that he owns a miniature horse -- the whole thing was kinda creepy) and one person had built this multi-story glass enclosure inside the house for a bunch of monkeys of some kind. She said she loved watching them but the enclosure had to be some kinda double-strength glass to keep out the stench.
I'm going to get Soz one of these....when's your birthday?
A black panther or a lion.Im a wild cat fan.
This little sweetie pie was photo'd by Hamburger on their last cruise (around Cape Horn).
Alas, it doesn't work if I put the IMG brackets around it, so you have to click to see..

A beaver, of course. Or better yet, multiple beavers.
I'd like to have elephants
I'd need a much bigger back yard though.
hyena would be cool. i would sit in my living room and cackle with my hyena for hours.
Hyena breath smells really good from what I understand.
well, there you go hyena it is then. i bet the Department of homeland security would think twice to give me troubles with visa if i showed up with a hyena at their office.
Really?
(Yes, I'm gullible, but I can't tell.)
Sozlet and I were just talking about this one yesterday -- we've seen him in our yard, and she thought he would make a great pet. (Can't really tell from the picture that they have incredibly soft-looking fur -- didn't actually pet him, though.)
Smoky shrew
I would like to have giraffe. THey could lick my 2nd story windows
from the outside quite nicely, and prune the larger trees.
Is that a sugar glider DrewDad?
A neighbor had one, they named it "sweetie"
