The Telegraph and Times unearth the tale of man dressed as a Roman soldier being confronted in a York museum by a man threatening to kill him with a replica helmet. The dispute was over items of Roman armour, which the aggressor (who likes to be called Maximus Gluteus) claimed the man dressed as the soldier had stolen from him. The other detail was that his opponent, Graham Harris, was hampered by a dodgy hip.

This sort of thing happens all the time in Yorkshire.
