a lady went shopping for floor tiles at the local tile shop the other day. The floor tiles were on sale for only 28 dollars each.
However, she got it in her head that, for good luck, the total amount of dollars she must spend must be a number where all of the digits are the same.
With that in mind, what is the minimum number of tiles she must buy?
I am going nuts trying to figure this out!!! please help. thanks
She'd have to spend $444 444 and buy 15 873 tiles.
She could buy no tiles, so the total would be $0.00
