Well...I have a solution...but some PETA types would object. You could "relocate" it to a populated area away from your neighborhood and hope it would find someone to take pity on it. I am in charge of the neighborhood " relocation " program here, but it's for raccoons. But I did catch this pesky yellow cat 3 times...the darn thing LOVED peanutbutter!

I know that hamster wants something in the big box because I tried posting a blank box but it wouldn't let me.

I live in Ohio, but I was born and raised in Michigan.

I can't do that. I would feel bad wondering if it was okay. At least if he is in my backyard I know he is okay. By the way the neighbor moved a year or so ago and it was their cat.

Never been to either state. Have you ever been to WA?
marl
I " relocate " the raccoons to wooded areas or lakes. A cop even caught me once and said it was OK. LOL...It was 3 AM and I was at a lake with no fishing pole.

I've only been to WA thru the Byways of the internetS ( as George calls it ) but I have a cousin who lived there, altho I can't remember what city.

That is cute. I have 5 racoons that live in my tree in the backyard. I had to research that one because I didn't think they lived in trees. The encyclopedia says they don't but they do in my yard. I tried to tell them but they don't listen to me. I really am serious. I know they live there because that is where they come down from in the am and I was outside having a cig one night and one fell out of the tree.

But I DID go to the Wyoming Pow Wow when I was 7. We had relatives who lived in Lander and Cheyenne.
Have you ever heard of them living in trees?
booger diving??? What are you doing over there?? Should I leave and come to where you are? I don't know what you are doing though.
marl
Oh yea, they definately live in trees! I love them, but there are a LOT of elderly people where I live and they get tired of the coons getting into their trash every week. The trash dude just leaves it, so they have to clean it up themselves. I " relocate " 17 of them in 6 months. We've been coon free for about 4 months now.
I'll have to tell you about the flying squirrel we had in a tree in the front yard. But I better get some sleep now. So goodnight and I'm really glad I decided to stop lurking and join you guys!
