Now I want you all to know that little boys will be little boys...but this kinda disturbs me...This morning my little boy (5 yrs old) told me that his cousin (7 yrs old, almost 8 in 3 months) said he was going to bring a pistol to the barn...my little boy then preceeded to say he thinks his cousin was lying...I asked him why his cousin said he was bringing a pistol to the barn and my little boy told me that he said he was going to shoot him...then again he said he thought he was lying...which I do believe his cousin was blowing off at the mouth...but the idea still bothers me...I plan to have a talk with his mother when I get home from work

The worst part was that the little cousin said he was going to shoot my little boy...but the bad part was that he told him all this on a "school" bus

Never under estimate children these days, it has happend so many times in the past when all thought it was nothing but a joke. I would be on that phone right now and having that kid tracked down and staying put until someone sits this kid down and having a long serious talk. Have them parents put up all guns and make sure they are out of reach...

First they shoul be taught that a gun will kill a person dead forever!
Then they need to be taught that it's not a toy to be played with at all.
and third they should be taught more by some law enforcement.
this will change thier attitude on wepons. Rolling Eyes
When they are between twelve and eleven they can take the hunters safety course at a local gunn club, in the mean time they should be disiplined as to the severety of what they are talking about. The taking of anothers life at that age would be devastating!!! Crying or Very sad

I just about know when I talk to his mother tonight there are going to be some pretty bad words being said...she's very sensitive...thinks her children do no wrong...even though they don't even live with her...they live with their mammaw because she chooses to with a man instead of her children...I feel sorry for them, my child is not allowed around the little boy because he wants to fight my little boy everytime they are together, but I still can't help from feeling sorry for him because he does not live with either of his parents Crying or Very sad

i think coon and bigred covered most everything....in my day I can tell you that a simple stern lecture would not have been the end of it....there would have been at least a good hard fanny busting to go along with it, and Lord only knows what else. Kids today see a lot more violence etc. on TV and video games and things than most of us ever had exposure to as children....because of that, most of them need more guidance to go along with it.
