The confirmation packets were sent out by Fed Express. Some industrious person took their tracking number and went into the FEDX system to see how many were sent from D.L. Blair in Blair, NE. Seems there was about 7,000 teams (he had rounded off figures and said he could be off by a hundred or so since he had to count off lists) mailed FEDX with around 3,300 showing as 1/2 to 1 lb weight and around 3,700 showing less than 1/2 lb weight. Logic would say the 1 lb ones were the eligible confirmations that weighed more because of more stuff inside, while the less than 1/2 lb ones were simply a denial/disqualified letter. Based on this we have about 1 in 3,300 odds at a million$$$. (Last contest there was said to be a little over 2,000 teams playing)
These are actually really good odds when you consider the lottery, etc.
Or was you refering to my boat experience?? That was sad but kinda funny

The rain. It has been pouring all day bad. The major river just overflowed and bridges are under water, my friends are probably going to lose their house. A lot of people are probably in bed so there is a massive call out to get people evacuated. One of the bridges is already totally under water.
I am still shaking because I just can't think of everyone I should call so I am upset
