Went to mapquest ... if the narrows bridge is on US101, then I have been on it. We visited Olympic Natl Park on our way to Victoria BC.

Sorry my fault, stupid question. Mt. Rainier is part of the Cascades, not Olympic range (duh). You went along the coast then. They area I am talking about that they call the olympic peninsula is towards Bremerton
Gig Harbor, Purdy etc. You have to cross the bridge to go there. There is another way but it is called the long way. Sorry about the mix up.
