Help needed with Marlboro contest question

Yeah Coon ... where do ya hunt. My spot is in Pike Co. Illinois. They have some monster deer there due to the almost perfect conditions and genetics. If ya google "Pike County Illinois" and "whitetail" you'll see what I mean. Good Luck! :wink:

Going up to Sam Rayburn Lakes area.. Buddy of mine killed a huge 14 point last year. 21 inch inside spread. WOW!!!!!!!

Coon...ain't received my acceptance/rejection yet either.

I wanna go huntin'...used to go with my brother...one time we went while I was 8 months pregnant...I think...but anyhow the next year he wouldn't let me go no more...said I talked too much..

Maybe today is the day... Don't say that word (rejection) i would have a stroke if this happens to me 2 yrs. in a row. Last year we appeared on 2 different teams. We were not aware that a couple from SC. who we met at the ranch in 2002 put us on their team until it was too late..

How did you do last year? Opening day I passed on a small 8 and several 6's, then didn't see another all weekend. Still just enjoy being out there watchin nature!

wanna hear something strange...my dad shot a 13 pt...had it mounted...exactly 1 year to the day is when daddy passed away...if I take a moment of brain failure and forget when he passed I look at the tag on the mount..

Cute Lightnin' - Yeah ya gotta be quite out there or all you'll see are the trees! I use a tree stand and get about 15-20 ft up in a tree. The view is outstanding and the critters rarely look up. Had a fat red squirrel in my face last year cause I was in his tree. Sat on a limb about five feet away and made a lot of racket ... and no I didn't waste him!

Our team was accepted last year...hopefully again this year
