I even had to hit a couple on the head with a large rock to get them to stop wiggling in the trap. Their eyes kind'a popped.....

I had three cats that kept things in check, but they all got eaten by coyotes. All I've found of the cats are a few tufts of fur, a jaw bone and a flea collar.

I was on a hike and bike trail once and came across a deceased mouse, right in the middle of the trail.

A bike had run it smack over, and it was depessed in the middle (well, I guess I'd be depressed too) with it's head on one side and tail end on the other.

The eyes had popped out of their sockets.

interesting.

I feed the mice I find to my nephew's snake. Their eyes bug out also, just about the time that snake grabs them. The look of shock on their cute little faces is priceless.

Get bigger cats. And don't talk about this to my friend Rajneesh.

Well, I guess if you're a Jain killing mice is a problem, but keeping a good cat that catches mice would solve that.

To the fellow who feeds live mice to his pet snake, I would recommend killing the mouse first, if not for the mouse's sake then for the snake's safety. Snakes do get injured by their prey at times, and most snakes will take dead mice just as well. Of course, if you are a sadist, which your message implies, that would deprive you of the pleasure of witnessing other's pain.

I use a 12 guage shotgun to kill flies on my ceiling.

Your definition of a proportional response in the religious sense I imagine?

If your coyotes have a problem eating mice, you're just feeding them too much. Put them on a diet, and they'll go back to mice.
