If one believed in "Evolution with a purpose" one might surmise nature has given up on us, is intent on starting over as near the beginning as necessary. Not that I am of that opinion, just musing.
i think of diseases like aids, or the possibility of the avian flu epidemic like that, natures way of trying to get rid of us, or at least thin the herd
she identified the weed as a strain of cyanobacteria, an ancestor of modern-day bacteria and algae that flourished 2.7 billion years ago.
This is the sentence that got my attention.
I really expected this topic to take off. I wonder if the article appears on another thread?
