As horrible as this experience must be I feel there's much a woman should consider when dealing with such a dangerous criminal; including being able to survive to try and make sure no one else suffers the same tragic episode.

Well, it's simple logic to me. If there is something more valuable than life, as "The Good" deemed by Socrates, who sacrificed his life without a shred of fear in the belief that he, as a philosopher would either sleep eternally once dead, which is good, or enter the eternal world of heaven, which is even better.

I think life is important, mainly on the grounds that we can ONLY have one chance of living as far as we know; But I don't deny that there might be great possibilities that I, as well as others will have things that they think are of greater value than their lives.
