What buddhists do for their spiritual growth?
Unfortunately, my Buddhist friends either don't speak english well enough to answer, or are too busy. Interesting question though.
I think they learn to listen to themselves.
They seek to expose the notion of self for what it is (illution) in an effort to understand the true nature of the world. All illusions begin with self.
To spiritualy grow as a buddist must give up there love in selfish desires and instead of putting money, physical atcraction.....what have you, they put there thirst for knowledge, truth and disipline.
This doesnt help but I thought Id share it with you.
My friend had a tshirt on the other day with 'I have the body of a God' written on it.
Then underneath in tiny letters it said (Buddha).
