Here's a quote from a master teacher of spirituality.

There is only one religion; the religion of love.
There is only one language; the language of the heart.
There is only one race; the race of humanity.
Sai Baba

I am saddened at the negative image you give to Sai Baba, He did a great deal more than spread ashes. I know you don't want to know the truth, but perhaps someone will.

He never took money directly, He ask those who wished to donate to bulid water purifiers, libraries, schools, etc. He was responsible for helping women get educations. He lived in a Ashram, ate little, and had no luxuries. He taught tolerance among the religions, and preached from all ten of the major religions. To insult Him in this manner is bearing false witness. But I know you don't care. Have a good day.

LOL. I did not insult Sai Baba.

I was simply offering information. Part of Sai Baba's following believes in these 'miracles'. They believe it as proof of his divinity. Keep in mind that many are illiterate, poor, also many who are ill seek him for assistance.

To many educated people seeing it from outside, these 'miracles' seem to be nothing more than cheap (poorly done) magic tricks. It could be seen as a recruiting method. After all, Sai Baba has power: money and followers to fund what he wishes. It is in his interest to keep people believing.

I helps to have all available information in drawing conclusions about the sources of words. You provided a Sai Baba quote, I provided a link to video of him. So what?

It is up to each person to decide for themself. Looking at something from many angles, questioning, is not insulting.

I find it insulting of people's intelligence when one requires belief without question.

Also, I see no calm in your posts. Practice what you preach, sister.

I don't think anyone asked you to believe anything. Yes. it does help to have all available information. I watched the clips and did not see any thing wrong. I have seen hours of video on Sai Baba, He does not flaunt any of His actions as miracles.

Some people just choose to see the negative, while others see the positive in life. I don't think I have preached at you, nor am I trying to prove anything. All things and all people have good traits and not so good traits. Both sides should be studied before judging.

Sai Baba was a man had helped hundreds of thousands of people to live better more productive lives. The same as Jesus. The only reason I answered your post was to give balance to the character of this man.

I am not your sister, I am a guy, see anyone can make mistakes if they don't do research.

It's quite simple, Le Chat. I don't like you.

I have watched you preach 'the truth' of NDE. I have watched you be rude.
I find you hypocritical and extremely negative.

Now that I said that clearly, I will go out of my way not to antagonize you further. I'll say what I want to say, but will be more mindful of being unkind simply bc of my immediete reaction to your posts.

I must disagree with you on your statement about Sai Baba not flaunting any of his actions as miracles (with a small m).

From the Sai Baba site: Discourse: Who is Sai? Sai Baba talks about God, the Religion of Love, and His Avatar-hood. He explains why he materializes rings, etc., and gives them to people, and he explains what "Sai Baba" means.
sai site

He claims to 'materialize' objects. Miracle of miracles! He is indeed an incarnation of God. He claims to be an Avatar.
Avatar (Avathaar). An incarnation of God, taking a form according to the age in which the incarnation occurs. Special manifestation of God on Earth.

All that said: Sai Baba has indeed done some good works. I am not on a personal mission to hate on him. However, it should not be underplayed that he does in fact claim to be an incarnation of God! And this is an important element to many of his followers. Whether it is to you or not; I don't know nor care.

It is not important whether you like me or not. It is only important that you like yourself.

I do not preach NDEs. They are backed up by scientific evidence.

The importance of Sai Baba is that He taught love, compassion, and understanding between the various religions. That is what He stands for.
