I am having a difficult time understanding a few of these questions, and I was wondering if anyone could help me ,PLEASE. I need examples and definitions please. Thank you.
1) How does non material culture impact material culture?
2) How do young children learn social control?
3) Use your sociallogical imagination to asses issues facing familys today.
4) Define common sense knowledge with culture using a special example, please.
5) How does media socialize us?
Those questions sure do look like they are meant for YOU to think about, research and answer. In short, like an ASSIGNMENT. The idea is, that you end up knowing something about those topics, and, more importantly, you get experience of thinking sociologically. People on the web cannot give you that. It's part of EDUCATION. If you need to ask on the web, maybe this course is not for you?
