Now, this is real embarrassing!

I seemed to have missed this old thread of Walter's. Just recently, I read something of this artist, and was impressed. I checked out his website and looked at all his works.

In my town, we have a fair number of wall murals. Here's an example. the entire mural isn't shown. It's the wall of a car dealership that has this great 3-D-like mural painted on the outside. The upper edge has been made to look like a castle. It's only when you get closer you can see the individual cement blocks where the painting is.

Yes, that IS good news. One must distinguish between graffiti ART and graffiti VANDALISM. Mexico City abounds in great mural public art.
