I know there are still racists in the word, especially in the west countries. I don't know why there are still racists , we are all the children of the God, we are equal. what do you think?
I don't think that racism is any more evident in the "west countries" (I think you meant to say "Western countries" or "the Western world") than anywhere else in the world.
I agree with you that everyone is equal, but I disagree that we are all children of a god.
Personally, I don't believe in Gods.
Racism is alive and well in America. I've not lived anywhere but "western society", so I can only comment on other places from what I've read and heard. The influence of racism on American society is subtle and persistent.
The subject of this thread didn't lend itself at all to yet another proclamation of godlessness. It seems that those who don't believe in any god sure go out of their way to let everyone know about it - very much like the efforts to proselytize that religionists are accused of.

That's our reaction to the endless preaching that spews from every section of organised religion. Furthermore, the original question made a reference to being "children of the God". It seems valid to include a reference to beliefs in an answer.............or is that only permitted for theists???
A good question--but you'll find that Snood is more than a little sensitive on that issue.
The term "racist" is convenient, but there are forms of the hatred of "the other" which don't refer to race which are just as pernicious. I have long attributed such hatred to tribalism. Those who are not a part of an individuals tribe or clan become the other, and are subject to demonization. In Africa, it is definitely tribalism, and the drawing of the national map of Africa based on arbitrary lines drawn on a map for the former colonial powers has left tribes who invetrately hate one another within the same national boundaries. What resulted from that in Rwanda was just the most extreme example of what has played out in Nigeria, in Liberia and in Sierra Leone. Somalia is divided into clans. In the Muslim nations of the middle east, both tribes and clans claim loyalties of individuals who are more than willing to hate based on those distinctions. In many Asian nations east of the middle east, the divisions are usually "super-tribal," such as the Muslims of Malaya or Indonesia willing to slaughter those in their nations who are not Muslim.
Simply for sake of convenience in thought, i think of this in terms of tribalism. It can be seen in nations of the Western World, as well as in Africa and Asia.
As Wilso said, snood, I was merely answering the author.
It seems to me that you go round specifically looking for people to shaft. Maybe you should engage your brain before putting your typing fingers into gear.
I said nothing outlandish.
Some people may disagree with my views, but that doesn't stop me from having the right to express them, and I certainly don't expect my character to be maligned unneccesarily because of it.
I made a topic like this elsewhere and was then soundly reminded of a particular racist in Zimbabwe called Robert Mugabe.

Well, you're right - in answering the subject matter about racism, the point needed to be made yet again that you don't believe in God - I can see that.
There are still plenty of racists, because white people are the devil. They all smell like garlic.

This is the original post,
SNOOD--E answered the question, which included an assertion that we are all children of god.
E is right, you have a big chip on your shoulder, and you do around looking for someone to knock it off . . . you really need to cool your jets.

I am duly chastened, Setanta. I shall endeavor to be so measured and mature as are you.
Your sarcasm is puerile. E responded to the text of the question, and did so reasonably. You've got your panties bunched up your ass crack over the notion that anyone would fail to accord a due respect to your personal favorite supersition, so you go around lookin' for excuses to jump people over the issue. You have a serious problem.

You're a funny man Setanta. And energetic. You actually have time, in between petty squabbles and getting threads locked to lecture me.
And you, of course, have no time to consider whether or not your nasty reaction to anyone stating they don't believe in a deity is over the top. You have Frank to thank for getting the thread locked--i'm not responsible for his nasty mouth.
What Setanta calls tribalism, I call chauvinism. We have different terms we favor, but we are in agreement on the fundamentals. Racism/tribalism/chauvinism are not unique to the Western World. The more homogenic a set is, the more likely it will be prejudiced against outsiders. In the United States during Reconstruction, the White South passed numerous Jim Crow laws intended to deprive minorities of their civil rights. Those laws were all scrapped years ago, but prejudice remains on both sides of the color line. It isn't PC, but people remain most comfortable with those they perceive to be like themselves. In time we hope that reason will overcome prejudices that were accepted for thousands of years by almost every human culture.
Americans get beaten up regularly as being racist, but a lot of that is self-hatred and guilt for the injustices of the past. Seldom do we hear of the much more pervasive chauvinism of Japanese society. The Han apparently still see no reason to be ashamed of their treatment of Chinese minorities. The Caste System still exists in India. African genocide is so common it almost goes un-noticed. We can make laws to prevent the worst examples of chauvinism/racism, but changing hearts is much more difficult and it will take a lot longer than I have left to live.
Drat!
