How do you find time to spend on A2K? Me, I'm a systems administrator. Being an SA is like being a soldier, it's long periods of boredom interspersed with moments of sheer terror.
Between calls - onhold - or needing to blow off some steam!
Omg! A2k is going to be a verb?
I hate it when that happens.
I just hung up the Tele with Burlington, Ontario
Finding time to A2K
Hi cjhsa. You find time when it's there. Sorry to hear of your plight. If you don't have a thread that entertains you make one up. With the wealth of knowledge and curiosity about it's easy. If there's no time allocate it to it's appropriate position which is subordinate. As Auntie Mame said "All of life's a feast and most people are starving to death."
I work from home running a catering business, and strangely find myself in front of the computer and on the phone more than I find myself in the kitchen, it's like my bizarro world, so I can find time to A2K, the diversion from paperwork is welcome indeed.
I'm an in-call male whore, so I'm home all day.
I'm retired, so I so what I darn please. Sometimes though, I have an appointment, and I have a tough time pulling myself away from A2K!
Hmm... I don't find the time. Probably why I never posted before. I'm a very busy lady.
Ellie! I thought of you today. My new commute brings me by your neighborhood.
I am a nanny. I A2k at night at home and when the kids are napping.
Here is a few suggestions of things you could give up in favour of A2K'ing.
Lawn mowing
Reading
Housework
Cooking
Shopping
Eating
Sleeping
Working
Showering
I A2k at work...bad I know but I work in a place where there is no work to do, hence I make work on A2k...makes sense to me!
I'm in London at the minute working, but am away for 2 weeks this weekend....no A2king for me for a while *sob*
I A2K at work also. I spend half my time waiting for my computer to process whatever info I just typed in, so I jump back and forth between work and A2K all day. I usually check in during the evening and on weekends as well.
