In the spring, all creatures think in terms of ............love. In the north, you have the robins, which usher the start of spring. In the South where I live, you have the Love Bugs,...............those disgusting creatures who mess up your cars with theur acidic presence.
Twice during the year, the Love Bugs descend upon the scene. They smash against your car, leaving a gooey mess that can create a danger to your car's paint job.

I went to one of my favorite state parks. In an instant, my car was covered with the carcasses of Love Bugs, attempting to do what they want to do. When I returned home, I could not see through my windshield, The carcasses iof the Love bugs covered practically every inch of my car.
Evidently someone has a hobby.
As global warming increases, the critters will undoubtedly move further north.
Love bugs don't sting--black flies do.
