The Ivory Coast has been bloodied by civil warring over the last year. The UN has just vowed to send 76 peace-keepers to the little nation to help keep a cease-fire in place. Resolution 1479.

Enough? Doubt it, but a good step forward? I hope so.
News about Africa are often terribly slow in this part of the world. I still had the concept of Ivory Coast as a stable and rich country for Subsaharan standards. And the turmoil lasts almost 3 years!
One thing: with 16 million inhabitants, it is not a "little nation".
