Those kind thanx!
I'm afraid I don't get it. It didn't overload the CPU at all.
I say 6, would I be wrong?
Yes, you are wrong, there are zero f's in there!
Laura

Why did you pick "3"?
trick question.
How many f's in there?
The word there has no f's
There are no F's in there either!
Laura
Hmm. My snappy retort disappeared.
Most people will pick 3. 1 & 4 are the extremes and are ignored. And since many people are right-eyed, they will pick 3 instead of 2.
It works best when the digits are evenly spaced across the available room. Since I am lousy at a2k formatting, there was a lot of room to the right of the 4, which may be what you all wind up picking.
Mac- was it 4?
no?
2?
damn.
1! I knew it!
Hmmm, I'm left eyed, but I read your response before I looked at the numbers, so it didn't really matter.
Okay, now mine: how many fingers am I holding up?
Close your right eye and then look at the right chevron with your left eye. Move your head closer then away from the screen, the left chevron will disappear. Repeat using your right eye and the left chevron.
Equus,
Regardless of right eye left eye there are certain places our eyes naturally gravitate. And in cultures in which left to right text is not standard these tendencies tend to differ.
cjhsa, the left one with right eye worked ok, but the other one didnt disappear
and i picked 1 :S
