 CAN YOU TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT THE CUSTOMS OF AUSTRILIA?
Nice to see you, too. But if you want to know about Australia, you really should post your question -- with a different headline -- in the Australia forum, not under "testing." There are quite a few Australians posting here, but they probably won't see your question here unless they're just browsing all the new threads. Welcome.
crickey! do orstrayans have customs?

Customs! What? Us? Nah! We don't even have accents!
and Australia at least deserves a correct spelling: not AUSTRILIA
and welcome to A2K
Hey, Margo! Where've you been lately?
G'day to you, Margo. Seaglass went back to the Sandwich Islands right after the Feast of St. Patrick. I joined her there for a couple of weeks in late June. Right at the moment she's in El Paso, Texas, where a wedding was celebrated for a niece of hers last Saturday. I almost joined her there but couldn't justify taking the time off from work. She'll be glad you asked.
My apologies to LJ-Sophia for hijacking her thread.
It's Ok, hijacking is customary...
None the less I'll add a custom.
We don't turn up to social gatherings at other peoples houses without some form of alcohol. We call this hallowed tradition 'BYO'.
Dont forget to "bring a plate".
