This is when fishing season opens up completely. The bass are off their beds and the bluegill bite will rise sharply. Trout season opened a month ago but now it won't be so cold that you can't retie your line, and the flies will be hatching so dry-fly fishermen can have a chance.
Get your gear out, put on some new line, refresh your tackle, and take a kid fishing!
By any chance, does there happen to be someplace decent in Southern California where one can go flyfishing?
Uh, I was thinking more of freshwater fly fishing...
Take a kid fishing. They grow up too fast.
