the literary reference was St. Thomas.... had to see and touch to believe Christ wounds... island was therefore something to do with Thomas... and not
that side of the atlantic... so... looked down towards Africa and a BIG google map of the world and an island to do with St. Thomas, in a different language...(Spanish) which was off Equatorial Guinea - little island called Sao Tome.
