@Roberta,
Seems to be a dwarf antelope.

Neotragini family.

Or a blue Duiker..

@Francis,
No, Francis. Not a dwarf antelope or a duiker.

It's extremely rare and from Asia.

@Roberta,
This animal is in the ox family. (Does that help?) It was discovered in 1992. (Does that help?)

@Roberta,
Obviously, it helps, Boida.

It was a really hard one.

The animal is a Saola (Pseudoryx nghetinhensis), also called a Spindlehorn..

Very rare mammal from the jungles of Vietnam/Laos..

@Francis,
Yes, a saola. It takes a rare one, Francis, to stump you. Haven't done it yet, but I slowed you down a bit.

@Roberta,
You sure did, Boida.

But I like the challenge..

As it is nearly bedtime here, if somebody else want to have a turn, please do..

@Francis,
Francis, There are two endangered species of wombat--the northern hairy-nosed wombat, which is critically endangered, and the southern hairy-nosed wombat.

I stared at some pictures of hairy-nosed wombats from the north and the south. I'm guessing yours is from the south. Mr. Green
