@Roberta,
It's been so long since I posted this that I've now forgotten what it is. LOL

@Roberta,
It's a type of bat called a Flying Fox. I'm just not sure what specific species it is yet (haven't had a chance to research it yet).

@rosborne979,
I remember the flying fox part. It's a newly found species. Can't remember exactly what though. Sorry. Striped something.

@Francis,
I went back to where I found the pic. I think the name of this animal is in dispute. Maybe it doesn't have one. Let's call this one done.

Somebody else want a turn?

Hi Francis,
It's a particular type of Kingfisher, pretty famous. (I didn't even know it was a type of Kingfisher until you mentioned it, I had to look it up).

@rosborne979,
I think it's probably a white-collared kingfisher but maybe you have a specifc name for it..

Nope. Would it help if I told you it's from Australia?

Here's another view:

@rosborne979,
It's a blue winged Kookaburra.

When I first saw your picture, I thought it was a Laughing Kookaburra but the colors didn't match.

That's why I said it was a white-collared kingfisher...

@Francis,
I've seen that devilish little thing before, but I just can't remember the name. The look on the face is very distinctive, the small ears and short snout. At first I was thinking Yellow Mongoose, but the ears are too small and the face is different. Does it have a bushy tail or a thin tail?
