I am addicted. Anyone else?
My mum, as for me, havnt a clue.
Well I will teach you.
If I can get you to do sudoku I will write a set of instructions, make a fortune and give you a percentage. Deal?
Not addicted, but intrigued indeed.
Its very popular in Japan and Britain.
It has 3 great advantages
1. Its very simple to understand
2. Its silent...unlike crossword puzzles, how many times do you get asked by some one doing a crossword hey what a 7 letter word beginning Q meaning extemporise.. etc very ANNOYING
3. Stratetgies for solving sudoku vary and can get complicated.
I'm intrigued too Steve.
what is this? I've never heard of it.
(I have a painting by Thomas Mower Martin I could trade if you want).

Not THE Thomas Mover Mountain? more trading and sudoku later...gotta deliver some keys
I LOVE sudoku!
Was introduced to it at the sale in Virginia I was working earlier this year. One of the other salespeople was working the one in the paper. I asked what he was doing. He made a copy of the original and next thing you know we are all in a race to finish first.
It requires logic, and I love logic puzzles, so it was easy to learn.
Here's a great site where you can do
ONLINE SUDOKU
Yep. I'm addicted. I'm on my fourth book.

my tips for sudoku
1. dont start
2. if you must DONT GUESS
3. Always use a pencil + rubber, not ink.
4. Use all your techniques together, dont get bogged down with one.
5. Techniques? What techniques...more later.
I did one of the "evil" ones from squinney's link. That was tough. I wasted a good hour and a half on it.
Hm, I never heard of it. So this is my first try - here
