Private Message From Nobody?

Friday I checked into my 7th favorite website, able2know.com.
It said I had 1 private message. I go to my inbox, and there was no new private message...just all the old ones from some strange woman sending me naked pictures of herself Rolling Eyes . Anyway, after I went back, top of the screen read "you have no new messages again." I didn't think anything of it. Then I checked my email account today that PM notifications go to for the first time in a while, and it said I had a new PM from Friday.

How did it disappear?

Whoever PM'd me, I didn't get back to you because I never got the message, not only because I don't like you, or anything.

Werd.

Ok, I'm lying about the woman sending me naked pictures of herself. She's not weird.

She sent you the pic of her and the donkey, but though better of it and deleted it before you received it. You can do this, you know.

I have had the same thing happen. (not the nude photographs, but the notification then no message)
I figure it's just some sort of flaw in the system.

It's happened to me a few times as well, but it was quite awhile back.

After you send a message, it is in your Outbox until the recipient opens it. You can edit the message, or delete it from your Outbox.

If the sender deletes a message from his/her Outbox before the recipient gets it, the recipient would get a notification, but no message.
