thirty - six minus ten = 34


six minus ten is negative 4. 30 minus neg 4 is 34.

Not so easy, Don!

Some hateful math teacher pounded in my head 30+ years ago, that if no parentheses are used, all division and multiplication should happen before any addition or subtraction. So I think markr has the answers right.
