The clues you need help with are from Lovatts Holiday Collection no.56- The Stinker. ( It is a great help to us if you also give which book and puzzle the clues are from, just in case any of the letters you have given us for reference are incorrect. :wink: )

216A. Smoulder - 'Glow'

233A. Slope - 'Tilt'

192D. Non-identical (twins) - 'Dizygotic'

217D. Intelligence - 'Wits' (Same as Hingehead :wink:)

269D. Unit of phone traffic intensity - 'Erlang'

I can confirm that Butterfly's answers are correct, as I have completed the "Stinker" also.

Sorry CJ, I don't think they have Lovatts puzzles in America. These "Stinkers" are particularly tough and take a lot of research, I can vouch for that, as Butterfly and I have been doing them for a long time.

(Your Statue picture in the other thread is equally as hard )

A few wrong crossing letters make it hard to guess.

(Don't mind Dutchy, he likes his Lovatts puzzles but he doesn't really hold a mortgage on them.) :wink:
