Just watched a human arrive to adjust the cameras - and then watched one of the parent falcons fly around and observe matters.

The camera controller just scrolled in on the 'wrist' bands.

Camera guy just did a very cool zoom in on a cruise ship across the river.

This is wild.

No one's in the nesting box, but the focus on the stretch limo down by the pier is marvellous. That camera guy did a great job.

Limo left. Little white car left.

Some strollers along the waterfront.

Can't see if anyone's in the nesting box.

(Noddy/JoeN, I'm surprised you couldn't hear me shouting when the fella came up into the nesting box - I was trying to get your attention - it was very cool - he had the camera following the birds as they swooped around the nesting box and came in for landings.)

No one in the nesting box.

Have the boys flown the coop for good?

Evidently the falcon family is used to photographers.

EhBeth--

I wondered why you were hollering, "Sun tan! Sun tan!". Now I understand. You meant "Web cam!"

I've been peeking in the last three days. I saw one there yesterday afternoon, but they're usually gone. Will check again tomorrow.

(Sigh.) This happens every year. They grow up too fast.

It's about a month til it's time for the next clutch to be laid.

I'm looking forward to that as I watch the snow flurrying around.

The eagles , in the valley of the mighty Susquehanna, have all left the Conowingo wintering over spot and have returned up river to begin nesting. Eagles further from the river, are a sure sign of spring. We had two just last week in the warm-up just flitting around each other on our snow covered rye field. It was neat just watching them jump over ezch other like two kids playing leap frog.
