Big news from my nabe: This morning there was a hawk or a falcon (couldn't tell, too far away) circling over the apartment buildings right behind mine.

Guess what? Up here in the Heights, a red tailed hawk just flew by my window carrying a big pigeon. He/she is dining on it on the abandoned terrace just to the South of my building.
