Fluffier? That is Fluff Prime, the golden chick.
There's an unhatched egg in PA.
Feeding time again in NY. Hey, Mama boid! What about the little guy in the back!
Watching the babies get fed in PA. A rat. The head was clearly visible while the mama pulled apart the middle section. In a woid, oy.
A fourth chick hatched in PA. One egg remains.
Fluff Prime is still using his siblings as downy comforters. He's oriented to survival-with-comfort.
The chicks in New York are up and about. Mom (dad?) is on watch as the puffballs line themselves up against the back wall of the shelter. They arrange themselves by height from left to right, puny, so-so, middling and biggie.

Theyve arranged themselves alphabetically according to height. Very classy.
The chicks are huddled away from the drizzling rain. Papa/Mama is on guard against non-environmental hazards.
Its very interesting how active both nests are just as the sun is rising.
PA BIRDEES
Not only is it darkest just before the dawn, it is coldest and most damp just before the sun rises.
Breakfast: couldn't see what Mom was tearing up for them. Three ate hardy, one.... not so much.

Haven't stopped in here for awile.
Awwwwwww!!!!! They're so cute :-D
Feeding time for the PA bunch. Can't tell what mom is feeding them, though.
Still pretty dark. (5:15 am) one parent arrives with what looks to be a mouse. One kiddo wakes up enough to get more than his share.

All these little birds gotta work out more, they lack muscle tone. Kinda flabby little guys.
Probably from eting a diet so high in ratand pigeon.
Feeding time for the PA bunch. I'm thinking that last egg won't be hatching.
The babies are growing fast. Still kinda wobbly though.
Like other animals, baby birds grow in their sleep.
Yes. And if you blink , or rather, miss a couple of days of peeking in, the differences are startling.
