Have a look at this website:
an amazing clip, and all the more so because it appears to be real--- shot on video or film, and not a computer-generated illusion
CLIP
Walter- Thanks! That is being sent out to everyone that I know. It is great!
fascinating!
"Isn't it nice when things just work, after 605 failed attempts?"
When you read the mentioned newspaper articles (links) , you' ll notice that
Quote:For now anyway, the only way for U.S. audiences to see the ad is on the Internet. Honda has a different ad agency in the United States, and the chance of the company showing "Cog" remains uncertain
Walter! That has to be the best ad I've ever seen. Too bad it probably won't be shown in the US--we'll most likely get the usual hyper group of people walking around mindlessly looking into car windows and smiling empty smiles at empty air.
This paragraph from the first article reminded me of a Pink Panther movie in which Cleuseau's(sp?) rival goes insane:
Antoine Bardou-Jacquet, the commercial's director, kept puffing out his cheeks and whinneying, a note of deranged despair twitching at the corners of his mouth. Asked how long he had been working on the commercial, he gave a high-pitched giggle and replied: "Five years? Or is it eight?" It felt that long.
It's a shame that this is the only way we'll get to see it. I sent the link around. Everyone thinks it's great! Thanks, Walter.
It's very interesting, but the energy displacement looks out of balance is a few places.
