Furthermore, existence requires an existent cause, it is based on a cause which has an actual reality. Whereas non-existence may be based on things which pertain to non-existence. Such things may be the cause of something non-existent.
It is as a consequence of this rule that despite the awesome destruction in the universe of devils from among jinn and men, and the varieties of unbelief, misguidance, evil, and destruction they perpetrate, just as they do not interfere one iota in creation, so too they can have no share in Divine sovereignty. And they do not carry out those works through any power or ability; rather than power and action in many of the things they do, it is neglect and abstaining from action. They commit evils through not allowing good to be done, that is, they become evil. For since bad and evil are a sort of destruction, their causes do not have to be an existent power and active creativity. Rather, vast destruction comes about through one command pertaining to non-existence and one condition being spoilt.
It is because the Zoroastrians did not develop this mystery that they believed that there was a creator of good in the universe, called Yazdan, and a creator of evil, called Ahriman. However, the imaginary god of evil they called Ahriman was Satan, who causes evil through the power of choice and the power to act, which possess no ability to create.

I, for one, don't buy the premise that non-existence is eveil and existence is good. What's the evidence for that?

ok. If you look to the world you see a lots of power center. People give so much importance them. Such as terrorist groups. They only destruct but in reality they ve no power..
If you may set fire forest with one match .. It is only one action but to get grow forest takes hundred years.. so non-existence of a forest don't need any power only one match is quite enough. So satan and satanic verbs r like that and doesn't need so much power.

so oil is a higher quality product than milk or yoghurt, what the hell does that mean
can you say apples and oranges
<takes deep breath>, so you're saying that extra virgin olive oil that goes bad, will go more bad than virgin olive oil, i'd have to see more proof of that
But satanic results r so shining and looks so big. In reality they r based on only destruction. Also in our life we brake each other heart so easily.

If you look to some leader in all history who killed many people you see humanbeing could be more harmfull than all kinds of animals.. But animals r so stabil.. But human capacity is so big also bigger than satans.. Also human capacity for good things is bigger than angels.. Because angel levels r so stabil. But humanbeing was created to be best mirror of GOD NAMES. So best and worst is humanbeing..
