Does anybody know of an animal that's looks like a lion and quiet though? I mean technically lions can be quiet by nature though they are looked as not so quiet. I know there's going to be technicalities to my question. Please let's see what animals you people can come up with here.
As far as I know, all the big cats roar.
Well it doesn't necessarily have to be a cat or within the feline family. Cats, lions, etc. whatever family they belong too....
I'm looking for a "quiet beast" (PHYSICALLY looks like a lion).
Oh, I had no idea this topic existed... is this a new topic? Nah, I didn't think so...
Sorry when I said topic I mean this category...
Oh well anyways... a sphinx... okay okay that's an interesting one. Now we're getting somewhere. Not sure if it's an animal though. I always thought it had a human head.
like a lion with a mane, or the color, or size or what?
What's the reason for you to find this animal, maybe that will help.
you're right, the sphinx has the head of a man and body of the lion...so are you talking mostly about the head?
No sorry when I say lion I mean it's physical as a whole.
Like the hair of it's head, the colour of it's skin/fur, how it's a "beast" like animal. I meant it as it's whole entirety (PHYSICALLY) only.
I'm just thinking because all other animals I think of e.g. bears, gorillas, etc. they all tend to be "not-so-quiet" and I'm just curious if there are any "quiet" beasts out there.
Quiet as in friendly and not as outgoing. Or even an animal that's beast like and wouldn't scare people off right away.
Maybe the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz?
Ah, forget the physicality of it. It just has to be a "big quiet beast." I'm not sure how polar bears/(brown) bears are when they hibernate. Hopefully if they are not disturbed then by nature they should be quiet.
Oooh, I got a good one though what do you think of a panda bear? (not disturbed in it's natural habitat).
A cow.
they're big and quiet.
