That is to say I have started a thread and forgotten to post a link on it which makes it incomprehensible, but when I went back to edit it there is no edit facility showing???????

This is the post.

the edit feature was taken away a while ago to help things run better.

now you can only edit if someone has not replied .

Other then that, what you can do is quote the original post and add your link to the new post.

The non-edit ability was an unfortunate change, for me at least. I have a thread about animals with a lot of pictures. As certain pictures got deleted from their web sites for whatever reason, I would update my thread with new pictures. Now, my thread is filled with a lot of Xs. Oh Well! I guess I'm in the minority.
