Can anyone help with this one.
I am old, I am new, but never the same
I am a bridge but can be carried, I can be looked at, most ignore me
It has stumped me so far.

I would have to go with; ?'Idea'
New/old ideas. An idea can connect problems (bridge)
You can carry one around in your head, or look at one committed to paper.
In the end, most ideas end up in the trash. (ignored)
