I am thinking about getting a pair of these but am not thrilled at the thought of trying them out after who knows how many other people have had them in their ears.
Shure E3
Has anybody used these or can recommend some good passive noise canceling ear bud type headphones. I have some Sony noise canceling headphones now but it uses white noise to filter the ambient sound and is annoying at lower volume.
I think that Apple makes some, I have a friend who likes them. I can't wear ear buds - they fall out of my ears!
Can't say I've tried the E3s. A freind uses a pair of shure headphones and swears by them, basically they are so efficient that the volume level of the player can be reduced dramaticaly.
Shure takes quality of audio very seriously, until recently they only catered to the pro-audio crowd. By accident they found there was a consumer market after a load of people started asking for the in ear monitor headphones for use with consumer products like iPod.
The only downside is they are not cheep.
Thanks, I just started hearing about Shure recently and was wondering if they live up to the hype.
It sounds like they might be worth the price tag.
